What is new in this version ?

Please choose the options you need. If you encounter a problem with Gome, try a version with less options to see if you have exceeded your phone capabilities.

US English French	Choose the language you want gome in
Cosmetic options
Menu icons	Unselect it if you gome doesn't show the options menu.
Antialiasing	Smoother, crispier stones, clearer annotations ! An improved rendering engine for Gome.
Bundled material
Problems	Hundreds of go problems.
2 sample games	2 sample games to show you the review feature of gome.
Joseki dictionary	The port of Kogo joseki dictionary to Gome.
Storage option
Filesystem	The ability to read or save on a memory card / internal disk of gome the games you want to review or your own recorded games. You can check here if your phone has the required PDA optional package (JSR-075)
Multiplayer options
Bluetooth	Select this if you want to play with another player through bluetooth. Your phone obviously need a bluetooth capability for this feature. You can check here if your phone has the bluetooth capability (JSR-082)
IGS	Select this if you want to play with another players or watch events on the internet. You need an internet connectivity on your phone and register for free on IGS

Debug	Select this only if you need to report a bug on gome.

• drastically improved graphics with antialiasing
• Now in play mode you can mark stones with symbols with the "mark" command, then cycle thru them with the same command
• Now you tailor gome option by option to your needs/phone capabilities
• Now gome defaults to the review mode instead of editing mode when you load a file [I mostly use this feature this way, contact me if you want it as an option]
• Gome now supports the landscape switch on some phones like the Nokia N95
• Better error handling, Gome should warn you more explicitely when something went wrong
• Corrected a bug when the scrolled was put in manual mode
• Now the application descriptor correctly advertise the phone capability required
• the menuImage option now also remove the graphics from the file browser (it allow some more memory savings)
• due to phone incompatibilities now gome avoid and key assignation to 2, 4, 5, 6 and 8
